In a significant move towards sustainable energy and transportation, Daimler Truck North America, LLC (DTNA) has announced the delivery of 20 zero-emission, battery electric Freightliner eCascadia Class 8 tractors to Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling (RCCB), a West Coast and Midwest bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola brands. This marks a milestone in sustainable heavy-duty transportation, reinforcing the commitment to eco-friendly practices in Downey, California.

The eCascadias, operating with tank-to-wheel by Daimler truck is 100% all-electric capability, are poised to reduce diesel fuel consumption by 2030 an impressive 150,000 liters (40,000 gallons) annually.
