Human Rights Day 2023: International day on 10 December 2023 every year
Human Rights Day or the rights day of every citizen living in the world is celebrated. Actually, on this day in 1948, the adoption of human rights was announced by the United Nations General Assembly, but officially in 1950, the United Nations announced to celebrate Human Rights Day on 10 December. The purpose of celebrating Human Rights Day is that all the people of the world can feel safe and live a free life without any discrimination. Human rights also include rights to health, economic, social and education.

Human Rights Act came into force in India in 1993
The Human Rights Act was implemented in India on 28 September 1993 and the ‘National Human Rights Commission’ was constituted on 12 October 1993. Human rights are described as fundamental rights in Part 3 of the Indian Constitution. There is also a provision of punishment in the law for those who violate or violate these rights.
