Vicky Kaushal plays the lead role of Sam Bahadur. According to OTTPlay, the film directed by Meghna Gulzar was made on a budget of ₹55 crore.
In Hindi, around 1,03,192 tickets have been sold in advance booking so far, resulting in a collection of ₹3.05 crore, reports industry tracker SacNilc. Sacknilk predicted that Sam Bahadur could earn ₹6 crore in India on the first day.
When considering the state-wise distribution, the highest actual occupancy rate for all segments was seen at 22%, followed by Tamil Nadu at 20%, Assam at 17% and Telangana and Kerala – both at 16%.
These figures indicate strong regional performance reflecting regional enthusiasm in particular states. In contrast, Sikkim had the lowest actual occupancy at 0%, followed by Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, where actual occupancy was 3%.
Earnings in states like Delhi, Maharashtra and Karnataka were excellent, with Delhi registering earnings of over ₹82.16 lakh. Maharashtra earned over ₹74.72 lakh and Karnataka earned over ₹36.65 lakh. Gujarat and Telangana also made notable earnings with ₹15.94 lakh and ₹17.65 lakh respectively.
