Flex fuel engine is an alternative fuel made from a mixture of petrol, methanol or ethanol. Flex fuel vehicle engines are designed to run on more than one type of fuel. Many changes are made to the engine and fuel system. Due to which it appears similar to the normal petrol model. Flex fuel is manufactured from corn and corn, due to which it can also be called alcohol base fuel.
